Explore The Flagler Museum

Step inside one of Palm Beach’s most treasured landmarks, the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum, and take a journey back to America’s Gilded Age. This 75-room estate, known as Whitehall, was built in 1902 by railroad magnate Henry Flagler, one of the key figures responsible for Florida’s development.

The mansion is a masterpiece of Beaux-Arts architecture, featuring ornate ceilings, marble columns, crystal chandeliers, and grand staircases that reflect the extravagant lifestyle of the era. Visitors can explore rooms filled with European antiques, original furnishings, and historical exhibits that tell the story of Palm Beach’s transformation.

Beyond the lavish interiors, the museum offers stunning views of Lake Worth Lagoon and an extension called the Flagler Kenan Pavilion, which houses a fully restored 19th-century private railcar once used by Henry Flagler himself.

Throughout the year, the museum also hosts special events, educational programs, and seasonal exhibits that showcase Florida’s cultural heritage.
